British Riding Boots & Lasts

Dating to the early 1920s and re-claimed from a manor house in Howden, a small historic market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, this and 2 other pairs of leather riding boots, both belonging to the same country gentleman, are in good order for their age.  With original timber boot lasts, aged leather, brass ring-pulls and ‘pearl’ makers name plate (Jackson, 4 Avery Row, Grosvenor St, London W1), today they make for handsome decorative finds.
