English Elm Dairy Bowl

This 19th century, circa 1870s English Dairy Bowl is a great find. Handmade from English Elm timbers, and with the original leather strap, freshly made butter was stored in the bowl and sold at local village markets. A rare find in superb condition. Today repurpose as perhaps a fruit bowl on a kitchen bench or dining table.
