English Riding Boots & Lasts

Dating to the early 1920s and re-claimed from a manor house in Howden, a small historic market town in the East Riding of Yorkshire, this and 2 other pairs of leather riding boots, both belonging to the same country gentleman, are in good order for their age.  With original timber boot lasts, aged leather and bakelite makers name plate (Peal & Co, London), today they make for handsome decorative finds.
