English School Cabinet

Victorian, late 1890’s early 1900’s, school cabinet.  Of large proportions and measuring over 3metres in length, this timber cabinet was re-claimed from a small village school in Todmorden, West Yorkshire.  With a worn, painted patina, revealing several colors through the paintwork, this cabinet was primarily used within the school for storing books.  Today it has so much potential.  From use within a kitchen (it’s a great working bench height), storage within a hallway (it’s not too deep) to office or linen storage.  With 6 individual doors: all with working locks and key, and 2 internal shelves running throughout the cabinet, this impressive find is perfect to add some well needed additional storage to your home.
