After 17 incredible years of trading, the time has come for us to close the doors of Quintessential — both our Balmain bricks & mortar store and our online shop // As our lease comes to an end, we’ve made the decision to say goodbye to this much-loved chapter //

An original vintage travel poster for Qantas’s route to Britain. Circa 1960 and designed by Harry Rodgers (1929 – 2012), this original colour lithograph is all kinds of wonderful. Advertising Qantas, Australia’s Round the world airline, flights to Britain, it features a fun and colourful design by the artist Harry Rogers depicting the symbolic British bulldog. Printed by Posters Pty Ltd. A highly evocative piece and one of series of very collectable posters designed by Rogers for Qantas in the early 1960’s. In superb condition, we have left this poster unframed, so the buyer can choose a frame of choice to work back with their personal interior style.
