English Antique Campaign Chest

Dating to the Victorian era of approx. mid 1860s, this original Campaign Chest is a great find. Of English origin, and constructed of oak timbers, it stands at just over 1.1 meter in height. Housing 4 full-length, deep drawers, it makes for a very handsome storage option. With original solid brass sunken drawer handles, the brass side carry handles have been replaced at a later date. Constructed to split into two halves (as with the majority of campaign furniture for the ease of transportation), it has a simple, clean design. Restored by Quintessential, today it would happily sit in many rooms of the home, from an entrance hall, to an office, from a bedroom to a living room.
