English Shipping Trunk

Just released in-store this week, this rather handsome travel trunk dates to the 1920s/30s.  With a painted timber exterior and a zinc lined interior, it’s in great condition.  Once used for the transportation of personal possessions (original owners details painted on the exterior of the trunk), it has two side handles and a working latch.  With a patented air & water tight zinc interior, it’s superb for the storage of books, documents, clothes, shoes etc.  Measuring 92cm in length and with a height of 49cm it also lends itself well to being re-purposed as a coffee table.
