The Kings Own Scottish Borders Leather Military Trunks

Originally used within the Kings Own Scottish Borders Regiment of the British Army, these original leather traveling trunks are magnificent.  Formally the property of a high-ranking officer, for the storage and transportation of his personal possessions, they date to the reign of George V, circa 1920s/30s.  Restored to near perfect condition they are fully re-lined in a navy drill fabric.  Today these trunks are perfect re-purposed as a coffee or bedside tables.  Both practical and decorative,  these highly desirable leather trunks are covetable pieces of furniture.  Sold individually or as a pair.
