Vintage Shipping Trunk

Dating to the 1920s/30s, this handsome shipping trunk is in great condition.  With a painted timber exterior and a zinc lined interior, it was once used for the transportation of personal possessions.  With two side handles, a working latch, the original hand-painted owners name & address, and a patented air & water tight zinc interior, it’s superb for the storage of books, documents, clothes, shoes etc.  Measuring 92cm in length and with a height of 49cm it also lends itself well to being re-purposed as a coffee table.
