The House that Pinterest Built
At quintessential duckeggBLUE we are delighted to be featured in actress Diane Keaton’s bestselling style manual The House that Pinterest Built.
The award-winning actress’s latest design tome reveals a look inside the house she built from the ground up with the help of the photo-sharing app, Pinterest. Included are many style inspirations for her impressive home in Sullivan Canyon, California, of which quintessential duckeggBLUE is one!
Located in the Details section, our image was first published in THE quintessential MAGAZINE (and on our own Pinterest) photographed by Sam McAdam Cooper and styled by John Mangila. Over the years, Quintessential duckeggBLUE have produced a beautiful collection of inspirational photography and its always nice to see our images and found objects in print (especially in such a covetable style manual / coffee table book).
Many of the style cues, especially the pared back industrial edge mixed with flourishes of antique and classic vintage pieces, have a shared aesthetic with our store. Actually everything on that particular page could have easily been sourced at quintessential duckeggBLUE!
Like any good style manual we love looking at the creative process of designing and decorating an interior..especially one which reflects (and features!) our taste so well…For some more Pinterest inspiration why not look at our own lovely boards here
Thank you Diane Keaton and Rizzoli publishing for including us in such an elegant and inspirational publication!
