Antique French Cheese Carrier

Newly released in-store this antique French oak & iron cheese carrier is all sorts of wonderful.  Dating to the 1880’s it was re-claimed from the Haut-Savoie region of the South-East of France.  Once used to transport cheese (it was carried horizontally by a person at either end), today we are delighted to re-purpose it as a decorative ladder within the home for the display of magazines, clothes in a bedroom, towels in a bathroom, even linens and pans in a kitchen.  Newly restored by Quintessential duckeggBLUE, it’s in excellent condition.
