Antique French Hall Bench

19th century, circa 1870, French antique country house long hall bench.  Of solid structure, this long bench (1.9m) is constructed from a marriage of French cherrywood & oak timbers.  With a decorative etched panel to the back rest and a single lift-up seat that reveals 2 large storage units underneath the seat, it offers ample storage space while also being a handy bench for seating.  Good condition. Perfect today in a hallway, large kitchen or a mud-room perhaps.
