Antique French Oak Drapers Shop Cabinet

A highly impressive antique French oak drapers shop cabinet dating to the late 1870s/1890s.  In superb condition this large 4 door cabinet is constructed from solid French oak timbers, making it a very well constructed piece of furniture.  With 4 doors, all with the original metal lock systems and keys, the 2 end doors open to reveal 5 individual drawers at both ends of the cabinet, each with the original drawer handles and showing the original handwritten stickers identifying the contents once found with the drawers.  The middle 2 cabinet doors open to reveal a large storage space with a single shelf.  With breadboard ends to the counter top which is made up of 4 planks of timber, this French oak cabinet which once was used within a French draper shop, boasts the most beautiful age and warm hues to the timbers.  In excellent condition, this is a superb piece of furniture.
