Just released in-store & on-line, this 18th century, circa 1750s, French provincial coffer is a truly stunning find.  Constructed from solid antique French oak, it has beautiful warm hues and a lovely patina to the timbers.  Traditionally made with pegged joints and clean simple lines to the carved design, it has an original internal candle box and comes with the original key.  Both beautiful and practical, this very spacious piece of French provincial furniture is an absolute joy. Great condition, solid construction.
