Antique French Wall Mirror

Newly released in-store & on-line dating to the reign of Napoleon III, circa 1860, this ebonised black & gold  French wall mirror is a lovely find.  Measuring 60cm in height and with the original mirror plate (showing early signs of foxing to the mirror), and general age, wear & tear etc, we love the proportions and dramatic contrast between the black & gold.  Ready to hang, which room would you display this French antique in?
