Antique Tasmanian Blackwood Chest of Drawers

Just arrived and newly re-stored by Quintessential duckeggBLUE, this antique Tasmanian blackwood chest of drawers is all kinds of wonderful.  Of excellent quality and dating to the 1870s, it comprises of an arrangement of 8 drawers (5 over 3 full length), all of which run very smoothly. With all the original turned handles (each with a mother of pearl inlay), turned side columns and stood on 4 original turned feet, this impressive set of Tasmanian blackwood stands at 1.4metres in height, with a width of 1.18m and offers ample storage space.  In superb condition, and with the most beautiful patina and hues to the blackwood timbers, these quality drawers are an absolute stand-out find.
