Dating to the early 1900s, this antique Australian Meat Safe is a superb example of early Australia. Made from huon pine timbers and with the original zinc metal mesh panel doors & sides, this original Tasmanian piece of kitchenalia was once used for the storage of meat and other foods pre ice-boxes and fridges.  With 2 internal shelves behind the double door front, it offers ample storage as it stands at 1.83m high and 1.27m wide. Re-purpose today as an impressive storage space within your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (great for linens and folded clothes), even for the storage of your wine collection, books within an office space, or perhaps to house a TV and entertainment system! Our opinion: by far one of the most impressive meat safes to date in our 11 years of trading.
