Circa 1880, original Welsh 2 way benches, straight from a Welsh chapel.  Made by G.M Hammer, London.  Constructed from pitch pine timbers & cast-iron, they are of solid construction.  With the 2 way movement to the back rest and a foot rest at the base of the bench, they are in superb condition.  Re-purpose today alongside a dining table, in the hallway or on a verandah.
