Colonial Campaign Chest

Dating to the Victorian era of approx 1850, this original colonial Campaign Chest is a superb find. Of English origin, and constructed of cedar and pine timbers, it stands at 1 meter high. With 5 deep drawers (3 are full length, 2 are half length), it makes for a very handsome storage option. With original solid brass draw handles, brass cornering and 4 side handles used for the movement of this chest from location to location. As with the majority of campaign furniture it is constructed to split into two halves, again for ease of transportation. Restored by Quintessential, today it would happily sit in many rooms of the home, from an entrance hall, to an office, from a bedroom to a living room.
