Colonial Tallboy Chest of Drawers

Just released for sale is this most beautiful colonial tallboy chest of drawers. In superb condition, this antique tallboy dates to the 19th century (approx mid 1800’s).  Constructed from kauri pine, black-wood and huon pine, it features 7 graduated drawers over a height of 1.4metres and width of 73cm, making it a versatile and practical size.  Raised on original castors, the tallboy can easily be moved.  With expertly crafted dove-tail joinery, turned black-wood handles, original brass escutcheons, fitted locks (with keys) and the most stunning timber hue, this colonial tall boy is an exquisite example that should not be overlooked.
