19th century (circa 1850s to 70s), English country house estate cabinet.  Constructed from Cuban mahogany timbers, this estate cabinet would once have been located in the house managers office for the storage of telegrams, correspondence & perhaps even keys etc.  With beautiful hues and patina to the Cuban mahogany timbers, the 2 doors open up to 24 individual pigeon holes an 3 lower drawers.  With the majority of the pigeon holes still with their original alphabetical labels, this estate cabinet is in superb condition.  With the original key, this free-standing cabinet can also be wall mounted if required.
