English Apothecary Cabinet

Fresh off our latest shipment of antiques & decorative objects is this impressive (if we say so ourselves) Apothecary Cabinet.  Dating to the late Victorian period, this original English cabinet was used for the storage of medicinal herbal treatments. With 8 graduated drawers, featuring campaign brass handles and original enamel badging: each with a botanical name in Latin, today this piece makes for excellent plan drawers to store artwork, collections, emphera, jewellery – the possibilities are endless.  A rare find in great condition with a covetable, perfectly imperfect aged  patina.
