Huon Pine Hat Block

New in-store, this antique Huon Pine Hat Block is simply exquisite! Dating to the early 1910s, and hall marked Godfrey, Melbourne, it was made for and used within the Godfrey Department Store. Of larger proportions, with a diameter of 33cm, it comes apart into two sections, with the underneath showing the makers mark and hat block sizing. Pieces like this are rare finds, especially huon pine hat blocks of this quality and provenance.
