French Draper’s Bench

On the market for the first time ever since quintessential duckeggBLUE opened nearly 9 years ago, we are now releasing this French draper’s bench for sale! Constructed from pine timbers, this impressive bench was originally used within a drapers atelier or shop.  Of large proportions, it was ideal for the cutting and storage of long rolls of cloth.  We have used it as our work desk and happily sat at it every day while working at the computer.  With a base shelf and 4 drawers (2 on either side), today it makes for a statement kitchen bench/island, an office desk or for use in a retail store, cafe or restaurant.
